Grade 12 marks decide post-secondary admission, and diploma exams are worth 30% of the final grade in each diploma course. This is also the year with the least slack — there is no time to rebuild a weak Grade 11 foundation from scratch, so we work on the gap and the current content in parallel.

Course names vary
Alberta course codes are not how most people search. Grade 12 students and parents look for these under names like Applied Math 30, Bio 30, Biology 30, Calculus, Calculus 30, Chem 30, Chemistry 30, Grade 12 Biology — all of which point to the courses above. Note that only mathematics splits into −1 and −2 streams; Physics, Chemistry and Biology have a single stream at each level.
